those e-mails - to and fro.
similar to another
whom he knew.

early one morning
on an island
he told the friends
who were with him
why not?

so he wrote
to her
by regular mail
and she perhaps
was thrilled.

finally
they flew across
and married here
at home
without a fuss.

now
they are three
in the city
that's a village
happy and content.
